National Brain Tumor Society would like to thank Zallie Family Shoprite Stores, located throughout the Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey Area, for their relentless support during Brain Tumor Awareness Month. During the month of May, 11 Shoprite stores joined our tireless quest for a cure by conducting a donation roundup.

The campaign consisted of asking each customer, at checkout, if they would be willing to round up their purchase to the nearest dollar as a donation to the National Brain Tumor Society.

The campaign, which raised more than $5,000 on just its first day, concluded just after Memorial Day weekend. Overall, Zallie Family Shoprite employee and NBTS advocate, Sandra Kramer of ReMARKable Strides, is excited to share that the campaign raised more than $60,000 in one month’s time.

The staff at NBTS are beyond pleased with the campaign’s results and are excited to partner with Shoprite again in the coming years. Not only did the campaign help NBTS raise significant dollars for its research and advocacy programs, but it helped us reach new audiences and raise much needed awareness around brain tumors.

Thank you again to the entire team at Zallie Family Shoprite and to Sandra Kramer for her vision and the implementation of this campaign.

If you or someone you know has a connection to a company like Shoprite, that might be willing to conduct a similar campaign for the National Brain Tumor Society, please contact Craig Strenger at cstrenger@braintumor.org
